The U2P Simulator project is now approximately 40% complete, and I'm thrilled to share the latest updates as of today:
1. Game Saves: You can now save all your unfinished games and continue them at your convenience. For completed games, you'll have the option to view results for each period, allowing for a more detailed analysis of your progress.
2. Game Scenarios: The ability to select scenarios (crisis, favorable conditions, military actions, and more) or create your own with flexible simulation parameter settings opens up wide-ranging possibilities for experimentation and immersion in various gaming contexts.
3. Updated Main Menu and Interface: Upon entering the game, you'll encounter a new main menu offering the choice to create a new game, load previous saves, or access interface settings. Interface settings allow language and theme customization. Future plans involve expanding these settings to accommodate diverse user preferences.
Your feedback, suggestions, and ideas for further enhancing the game are crucial to me.

U2P can be called an adaptation of MESE for modern operating systems, they are based on similar mathematical models, but there are some changes. U2P was created by karton4ik as a replacement for Junior Achievement's MESE
Mese is a management and economic modeling exercise. It is a computer program in which groups of players make decisions about the production and marketing of an imaginary product. During the simulation, players determine prices, production, marketing budgets, capital expenditures, and research and development (R&D) expenditures. The most successful teams will be those that best balance supply and demand, with the highest level of production and price. The program is designed to help students develop skills such as decision-making and teamwork, among other things.
MESE was created in the 1980s. It was widely used by JA (Junior Achievement) in its course JA Economics to teach students knowledge of company management and economic environment. There is also a web-based MESE variant called JA Titan. Unfortunately, the use of MESE / JA Titan was discontinued in 2013.

The U2P Simulator serves as a robust tool for simulating economic processes, proving highly effective as a didactic technique aimed at enhancing students' understanding. Its application in educational settings, spanning universities to schools, offers invaluable insights. Through these simulations, students gain a comprehensive grasp of plant operations while being empowered to juxtapose theoretical knowledge with experiential learning. This approach nurtures the development of crucial skills like systems thinking, interdisciplinary diagnostics, and strategic planning.
Furthermore, the U2P Simulator isn't merely an educational tool — it can be a competitive game. Participants strive to attain the highest UPI (U2P Performance Index), infusing a competitive edge into the learning process.
